As you may know CS deleted it's own wiki , so I searched for a new place to put backpacker travel info that is not in the guidebooks. First I put the info on Hitchwiki, but they have a policy of not listing accommodation. But in Cyprus budget accommodation needs listing cos it's difficult to find. In light of this I swapped around and made couchwiki the main place I put info, cos I think all backpacker/budget/CS should be in one place. In Lefkosa Kemal's workers hostel was good but the phone number is no longer in my phone. Stewgreen (talk)

Should we list some accommodation or not?

Cyprus is expensive, couchsurfing not so easy and much of the information about budget places not easy to find. So having compiled my own list I want to share it with other people. Markus an Italian CSer told me another list on the Lonely planet Forum so I added that to my list. I believe it is handy in your pocket to have a list of backup places to stay. However over on Hitchwiki we discussed whether such info clogs a page. So today I played around floating it off onto a separate page. I am open to discussion about this. I'm cool with it, Couchwiki is already quite a hodgepodge of information, so why not? I gave the article a slightly more concise name with Budget lodging in Cyprus. budgettravel.wiki.yt is still an option though :) guaka (talk) 21:49, 17 April 2013 (CEST)
