Welcome to Rural Hospitality Romania

Please read through the guide and hopefully by following the links you will be able to have a great experience in the Rural Areas of Romania :)

Introduction

Romania is bordered on the east by the Black Sea and the Danube in the south. A country of nearly 20 million people it now has more than 50% of the population living in Urban areas. There are still lots of beautiful areas in the countryside from low lying plains to villages tucked into the Carpathian Mountains.

Definition

Nearly all of the farmers in the countryside would be considered rural - whether they are on a 1 hectare farm to a 100 hectare farm. But the question is, how do you define a village in Romania?
